"A special and important book" (The Child Protection Association)

Frankie suspects why his friend Lars does not admit who gave him the black eye and does everything in his power to uncover this secret and to protect . Felix, too, desperately wants to be let in on his new classmates' secret so he can fit in, but he should have listened to his gut feeling. Fiete Horstkötter and the master detectives protect their secret from the great uncanny. Anna has a great, secret surprise idea in the butterfly house. And Emma's stomach only unravels when she breaks her promise and tells her mom the secret that a classmate is going to be spanked the next day.

In these and other stories and poems, well-known children's book artists tell of secrets that bring joy and those that absolutely must be revealed. Parents, educators, and other caregivers will also find expert tips and food for thought developed jointly by the German Child Protection Association and the publishers. This way, children and adults alike learn how to distinguish good from bad secrets, when to seek help, and where to find it.

FAQ

How do I properly care for cotton clothing?

We recommend washing the octopus sweater inside out at 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 800 rpm in a washing machine or by hand. It should not be tumble dried. After drying, the sweater can be ironed on a medium heat setting.

Where do your materials come from?

Our kids' sweaters: Our kids' sweaters are mostly made from secondhand, leftover, and surplus fabrics. We want to use what's already available in the world as much as possible. Of course, we pay attention to quality when purchasing the fabrics.

Newly purchased fabrics: The fabrics we purchase are manufactured exclusively in Europe, are made of 100% cotton (organic) and are subject to the highest ecological and social standards.

Where do you make your clothes?

Our clothing is manufactured exclusively locally in Berlin or in partner workshops in Germany. Through our work, we raise awareness for local sewing crafts and contribute to preserving the craft.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Sure! Our workshop is located in Berlin Kreuzberg. You can simply choose the "local pickup" option later during checkout, saving you the shipping costs.
